Through an invitation of LISBON ID - which is the first edition of a design exhibition, included in Intercasa international fair - I'll be presenting a giant chandelier made with 31 "NOOVA" lamps.
The room where the chandelier is placed results from a association with Blindesign that invited me to design a limited series of 100 lamps, produced in Tires Prisional Establishment.
It is thus fulfilled the purpose of trying to combine sustainable design with social inclusion through the use of hand labor of imprisoned persons, preparing them for the labor market, giving them a source of income and enhancing their self-esteem.
Here lies my personal invitation for you to enjoy this project from 3 to 11 of October in Pavilhão 4 - FIL (Lisbon).
